MORE THAN JUST OFFICE REMOVALS
-
Specialist packing - secure crates and seals
We stock our own purpose made plastic lidded crates ideal for files and similar office stationery. These crates are delivered in advance and can be supplied complete with plastic seals for total confidentiality. For delicate items such as monitors, we can supply IT crates and packaging materials to safeguard against damage. Where necessary a colour code system is used to assist our staff in making sure office furniture and crates are placed in the right position in the new premises.
-
Heavy Lifting - Easy Work for Ingram's
For heavier items such as four drawer filing cabinets and small safes our fleet of Mercedes Benz removal vehicles are fully equipped with heavy duty sack barrows, wheels, mechanical pallet truck and dolly wheels. Please enquire about our services regarding large safe removals.

Commercial Clearance Specialists
All items at the premises (office, warehouse, depot) can be appraised and the selected items will be sent to either:
- appropriate sales (specialist, furniture, art, general) at auction houses throughout the region
- un-saleable items can be redistributed to charities or to recycling centres
- all waste will be taken for disposal
This gives our clients the power and flexibility to concentrate on their core activities without worrying about the extra items during moving premises.

Ingram's moving Bannatyne Fitness into their new state of the art offices in Darlington
In all 30,000 cu ft of furniture and effects were moved using 600 of Ingram's own lidded rent-a-crates. All necessary packing and unpacking was also carried out by Ingram's. It took a team of 14 staff and 4 wagons to carry out the move over 9 days; all carried out with care to avoid any disruption to business.
Specialist IT operatives were used to disconnect, reconnect and test all of the PC workstations and laptops during the move. The planning and move was assisted by staff from Turbine IT Ltd.
Due to the quality of doors and frame work in the new building, all doors and frames were protected with purpose made quilted padded door and frame covers complete with velcro fastenings.
Duncan Bannatyne commented: "I would highly recommend Ingram's Removals, I have used them on a domestic and commercial basis and they offer the best service by far. Malcolm and his staff are very professional, helpful, courteous and extremely hard working. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Malcolm and his staff for the exceptional service they provided on my latest move. "
Mark Thornhill (Project & Estates Manager) commented: "Ingram's constantly put me totally at ease with the logistical challenges moving from our old head office building to our new corporate space in Darlington. The planning and quality of staff were excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others."
Kynren OFFICE MOVES - Jonathan Ruffer - January 2021
Jonathan Ruffer - Philanthropist and founder of Kynren - endorses Ingram's with a personally hand written letter from his home in London...
My Dear Malcolm,
I have just heard from the TAP team that their move has gone smoothly and that the lions share of the credit must go to you and the splendid team that you have built up.
We, of course, know at first hand how efficient and friendly a service you provide, but , on hearing that it had happened again , I wanted to write a heartfelt ‘thank you’ for your care for us, and for keeping the name of Bishop Auckland at the forefront for family service of the highest quality.
Bravo!
Sincerely
Jonathan Ruffer
Moving the Dainty Dinah Statue on 18th December 2013
Ingram's contracted by Durham County Council to move The Dainty Dinah Statue from The Civic Centre, Chester-Le-Street to The Mall at Morrisons Super Market in Chester-le-Street. The site which Morrisons was built on is the old site of George Horner's Chocolate factory established 1911 to 1961. The Dainty Dinah brand was introduced in 1914, many ladies in Chester-le-Street at the time stated they were the original face used. Although 1/2 tonne in weight and made from concrete / steel rods and completed with a glazed finish, the statue was still fragile enough to require a purpose made wooded crate to be specially built by Ingram's to house the statue for the duration of the move. The delicate operation took 4 of Ingram's operative staff, 3 hours using the necessary specialised equipment to then move the valuable statue from its present home to its new permanent home. Richard Hill and Julie Plummer from Durham County Council who coordinated the move were highly delighted with the service given.
Lisa March - Ibex Innovations
Manager commented: "We were moving offices and wanted as little disruption as possible. Ingram's made sure everything went like clockwork. The removal boxes and crates arrived a week before the move giving us ample time to organise the packing. If we needed extra nothing was too much trouble.
On the day we were dreading moving, but the staff arrived and were very friendly and were ready to help with whatever we needed! The move was across two days, because we not only had an office to move we also had our busy lab to consider. They made the move a very smooth experience, which I didn't think would have been possible.
Overall our experience with Ingram's has been a very positive one, they were very helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you!"
