At Ingram's we offer a professional furniture and container storage service at your location - be it local in Bishop Auckland, Durham, Darlington, County Durham, Tyne-and-Wear, Northumberland, Cleveland, Yorkshire, Cumbria or Nationwide. When you use this system your furniture and belongings are packed at your home/office and then loaded straight into dry, secure containers which are taken to our container stores.

When you use our containerised furniture storage system your belongings are packed at your home/office and then loaded straight into dry, secure containers which are taken to our container stores. The contents will not be touched again until they are returned exactly as you last saw them.

PACKING SERVICE
When moving we do all we can to avoid damage to goods and effects. Using Ingram's packing service doesn't guarantee that accidents won't happen - but we do everything possible to reduce that likelyhood. Our experience allows us to wrap and fit things to the highest standards. Where a packing service is required, we stock all the necessary packaging materials. Should you prefer to carry out your own packing we can supply the materials in advance. Whatever you decide, always allow us to pack your breakable effects otherwise you will not be covered via our liability.
Sealed and Secure
Our system eliminates handling as the contents will not be touched again until they are returned exactly as you last saw them. Once in store, your goods are safe, dry and dust free.

Self-Store
At our main Bishop Auckland storage depot we are now proud to offer a new self-storage facility to selected clients. Each container comes with full shelving where you secure the contents personally by the use of a padlock or seals. Each container has a storage capacity of 250 cubic feet. The contents of the containers are fully insured as they are held within our main warehouse unit - declaration of items stored within these containers is required. Access to the container is available at any time between 9am-4pm Monday to Friday. A minimum rental of 4-weeks is required for self-storage and payment for this initial period must be paid up front.

Any Questions?
Privacy - Depositing goods is just like opening a bank account. So only in exceptional circumstances may people other than the signatories to the original warehouse contract give instructions.
Insurance - Customers are covered through our liability which is fully approved by the British Association of Removers (BAR). Please contact us with any queries.
Cleaning - We are happy to arrange for carpets, curtains and soft furnishings to be cleaned before they go into store or when they come out.
Access - If there are some items you may need back before others, inform our estimator when he calls to make the quotation. On moving day, it's sensible to remind the foreman and he will plan the packing accordingly. If you leave it as an after-thought, it can be expensive!
Domestic Appliances - If domestic appliances are going into store, you should defrost the refrigerator or freezer about a week beforehand (leaving the doors open) and ensure your washing machine/spin dryer is clean and dry. It is a good idea to put some silica gel bags inside the cabinets.

"We used Ingrams four times in four months in moving from an Island in Scotland and a flat in Edinburgh to Lincolnshire. Malcolm and Ian Ingram set the example for their people who were all polite, helpful and superb at what they did/do. Nothing was too much trouble. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. If you rang you got a response immediate. Ditto by e-mail. If timings altered, and in our case one transaction was delayed three months, they were perfectly flexible in response. Likewise, we had an issue at the very end with a delay to entry and that was solved with no drama certainly with not with the customer. Truly suburb, and I am not easy to impress."
